The winner of the Golden Chair for Best Norwegian Short Film is awarded 50.000 NOK. The winning film is automatically shortlisted for an Academy Award. The Terje Vigen award consists of a bronze statue made by artist Harald Oredam and 10.000 NOK provided by Grimstad. The award is given to a Norwegian shortfilm.
JASON ANDERSON is the lead programmer for Short Cuts for the Toronto International Film Festival. He is also the director of programming for Aspen Shortsfest, an Oscar-qualifying event that is one of the premier short film festivals in the U.S., and for the Kingston Canadian Film Festival, the country’s largest standalone festival of Canadian cinema. A longtime film critic and arts journalist, he regularly contributes to publications such as Sight & Sound, Cinema Scope, and Uncut. He was a writer and script consultant for The VICE Guide to Film. He also teaches film criticism and arts writing at the University of Toronto and Ryerson University.
LISA OGDIE has been part of the Sundance shorts programming team since 2009, selecting the Sundance short film slate from over 10,000 submissions. She also works as a Membership & Talent Development Manager for BAFTA Los Angeles. She has moderated Q&A discussions and panels for BAFTA Los Angeles, Sundance, Toronto Film Festival and the American Pavilion at Cannes. Besides the Norwegian Short Film Festival, Ogdie has served on many festival juries including SXSW and Asiana International Short Film Festival in Seoul, among others.
VIBEKE HEIDE graduated in Film Direction from the Norwegian Film School. She writes, directs and produces short films and music videos through her own production company Sentimeter Film. Both her films and music videos have been shown at the Short Film Festival throughout the years, and has been awarded the Golden Chair and the Amanda Award.
