The winner of the Golden Chair for Best Norwegian Short Film is awarded NOK 50.000,- presented by The Short Film Festival. The winning film qualifies to be considered for a nomination for Best Short Film, Live Action or Animated, as long as it meets the requirements set by The Academy® for all nominated films.

The Terje Vigen Award consists of a bronze statuette made by artist Harald Oredam and NOK 10.000 and is presented by the Municipality of Grimstad to a Norwegian short film or short documentary.
Heidi Zwicker

Heidi Zwicker is a Senior Programmer for the Sundance Film Festival, focusing on international and U.S. Narrative Feature Films, Midnight and Shorts. She has been contributing to various Sundance Institute programs for over ten years, beginning with the Feature Film Program, International. 

Heidi was a Programmer at Palm Springs International Shortfest from 2011-2014 and is Senior Programmer at the Provincetown International Film Festival. Originally from the north shore of Boston, she has a degree in English from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and an M.A. in Critical Studies of Film and Television from UCLA.

John Canciani

John Canciani has been a film collector since he’s a teenager. He acquired his first experiences in curating films, when he founded and organized a film club in Winterthur. In 2009 he became a member of the selection team and board member at the Swiss Youth Film Festival in Zurich. The same year he joined the Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur as, amongst others, Head of Youth Programme, Programmer of the International Competition, and Assistant to the Artistic Director, and in 2012 he became its Artistic Director. 

John is involved with Kino Cameo Winterthur, where he advises the programme manager, regularly curates film programmes and moderates talks. He has a Master in Advanced Studies in Curating from ZHdK and was editor of issue 23 of the magazine on-curating, The Future of Short Film. He is Member of the Swiss and European Film Academies, Board Member at Pro Short and the Short Film Conference, and since 2019 a board member of Visions SudEst, where he also selects projects for the production and post-production of feature films and documentaries. He advises festivals, film schools and filmmakers on programming, festival strategies, scripts and editing.

 
Eili Bråstad

Eili Bråstad is a visual artist, screenwriter and filmmaker from Nordreisa in Troms county, Norway.

She works with expanded cinema and live visual performance. Her short films and video works have been screened at exhibitions spaces and film festivals in Norway and internationally. Last year, her queer Samí short film Skádja screened in competition at Kortfilmfestivalen, and it has won several awards. Bråstad has a BA in Moving Images from Nordland Art and Film School, and is currently taking her MFA at Oslo’s Academy of Fine Art.

In addition to being a curator of art and love, Iselin Shumba is an actor, activist and soon-to-be philosopher, with degrees from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, Oslo University and from The Michael Chekhov Institute in New York.
 
As an actor, she is known for her roles in TV shows such as Snowfall, Zombie Lars, Home for Christmas, and Ragnarok. As an activist, she was one of the initiators for the first Norwegian #MeToo movement; #stilleforopptak, she spearheaded the climate demonstration #istillhetforklima, and she is at the forefront in the debate around lack of diversity in film. Iselin has a seat in several boards, she is co-owner and contributor for the magazine Altså, and has contributed to a number of anthologies, such as Norsk nok (Norwegian enough) and Third Culture Kids. NKD Jury Gunhild Enger

Gunhild Enger is a Norwegian director and graduate of the Edinburgh College of Art, with a Master of Film Directing degree from the School of Film Directing in Gothenburg. She received a BAFTA nomination for her graduation film Bargain (2005), and since then her films have screened and received awards at festivals all over the world. 

Her films Premature (2012) and A Simpler Life  (2013) were both nominated for Norwegian Amanda awards. In 2016 she co-directed the short film The Committee, which premiered at the Locarno Film Festival and in 2020 her short film Play Schengen was nominated for five international festival awards including Chicago, Locarno, Valladolid, El Gouna and Bergen. She also worked with casting on Ruben Östlund’s Palme d’Or-winning film The Square (2017). Two Buddies and a Badger – The Great Big Beast (2020) is Gunhild’s first feature film as director, alongside Rune Spaans.

Marie Therese Guirgis
er en filmprodusent og produksjonssjef som har arbeidet med både fiksjons- og dokumentarfilm. Nylige produksjoner hun har vært med på inkluderer MLK/FBI av Sam Pollard, Oscar-vinneren Summer Of Soul av Ahmir «Questlove» Thompson, The Meaning of Hitler av Petra Epperlein og Mike Tucker, Cocaine Cowboys: The Kings of Miami, samt The Brink av Alison Klayman. Giurgis har også produsert spillefilmene Keep the Lights On av Ira Sachs og The Loneliest Planet av Julia Loktev.

Hun er for tiden produksjonsdirektør i Play/Action Pictures, et selskap hun etablerte med Jeffrey Lurie i 2019. Før hun begynte med filmproduksjon hadde hun mange års erfaring fra filmdistribusjon.
