About The Norwegian Short Film Festival

The Norwegian Short Film Festival takes place every year in Grimstad, in the south of Norway. The festival has a great industry presence and filmmakers from all over the world meet up to take in inspiration, but it is also a festival for anyone who appreciates great films. Here you may very well discover Norway’s next Oscar contribution or the next star director – before everyone else.

The covid pandemic gave us the kick we needed to expand the festival on to the great web and you can now see our whole competition programme online, from the festival start June 12. until June 23. The competition programme consists of 67 Norwegian shorts, 75 international shorts, and 25 music videos.

Questions & Answers

You can always reach us at support@kortfilmfestivalen.no.

From the 7th to the 18th of June, we also have a separate chat that we try our best to answer inquiries on during the entire festival period, from morning to evening.

Keep in mind that the festival staff are manning the chat, and they may have busy periods during the festival in Grimstad. But if you don’t get an answer immediately, we are not far away.

The chat is not serviced between 10pm and 8am, but we still receive your inquiry and will respond as soon as possible!

You must enter your email address in the chat first to be able to start a conversation.
