The winner of the Spark Award is awarded NOK 50.000,- presented by Altibox, along with marketing and distribution on Altibox streaming platform. The award goes to a filmmaker who’s boldness and creative talent Altibox wishes to honor and offer further support.
Tore Tomter works as a consultant for Altibox in connection with the purchase of short films, documentaries and animated films. He previously worked for NRK, and from 1991 was responsible for purchasing documentaries.
Terje Dale is software developer and senior consultant for Altibox. Terje has extensive experience from NRK, as a photographer, editor, director, multi-camera producer and editor of documentaries in Norway and abroad. For the last 2.5 years he has worked as a commissioning officer in Oslo, with documentaries as his main area.
Liv Joelle Barbosa Blad is an award winning director and scriptwriter. Liv got much recognition for the TV-series Nudes (NRK), where Liv was co-creator. The series won two Gullruten awards in 2020 for best youth-series and original music. Liv has directed eight short films. Her last, Min søster, won Amanda for best short film in 2017. Liv is co-owner of Barbosa Film, a company that works to lift female film creators. In 2021, Barbosa Film was nominated to Jenteprisen for their work with gender equality. At the moment Liv is developing her first feature film, Almeria, produced by Skala – Storm Films, along with scriptwriter Solveig Nuin Stephens.
