This year, even our original scream queen and final girl, Jamie Lee Curtis, got an Oscar – and she did not forget her origin in her acceptance speech. We want to be scared, and there’s a myriad of films and shows ready to serve whenever we want, but to tell a story in a short format takes special talent.
