Elin Marakatt
Elin Marakatt was born and raised in a Sámi reindeer herding family in Sweden. She is an author, journalist and reindeer herder. She has a Bachelor in Culture Analysis from Umeå University and also studied film at Sámi University. Unborn Biru, her debut as a director and screenwriter, premiered at Sundance Film festival earlier this year.
