The winner of the Golden Chair for Best Music Video is awarded NOK 50.000 presented by Oslo fotokunstskole.
Ingrid Liavaag is a Norwegian artist working in film, theater, and video installations. Educated at Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris and the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, she has directed short films shown nationally and internationally. In 2022, she won the Norwegian Film Critics’ Award. Her video work is in The Tangen Collection, and her film Facade was shown at Statens Høstutstilling 2024. Liavaag is also a co-founder of the film collective Peggy Høy.
Sofie Søndervik Sæther is a musician, leader, DIY filmmaker and diversity innovator, who is passionate about helping more people feel like part of a community, and exploring ideas and identity through encounters with culture and art. As a musician, she has released two albums and toured Europe and the USA with the band Level & Tyson, and this year she will release her debut album Big Boy with the cross-artistic performance project Deathman. Sofie has been both behind and in front of the camera in countless music videos, and holds a special place in her heart for this particular format. In 2021, the music video Slow Dance, which she directed for FLTY BRGR GRL, was selected for competition in Grimstad. In 2026, she will graduate as a curator from Aarhus University.
Sola Wang has a background in percussion and musicology, and grew up in a multicultural environment with an artistic family. This helped to involve him in work with galleries and art projects in places such as Amsterdam, Bogotá, Oslo and Ramallah, and at the same time contributed to the development of his musical knowledge and aesthetics. His curations in music events and DJ performances emphasize creating festive atmospheres, unity around the dance ritual and exploring timbres in interaction with visual and spacious contexts across musical genres. Sola has produced and played in events at, among others, Kunstnernes Hus, The Villa, Jaeger, and Oslo Konserthus. He is currently the artistic director of the club concept Raw Rhythm, which has taken place in Norway and Colombia.
