The Norwegian film schools play a deciding role and carry responsibility in securing the future of Norway’s film industry, and it’s thrilling and encouraging to see school produced films strong enough to be selected to the Festival’s competition program. 

In this special program we offer a selection of thesis films from different schools, as well as other recent productions – one film per school. 

The screening is a collaboration between the Norwegian Short Film Festival and various educational institutions for film, video art and media studies.
