Flatmates

The two friends Björn and Hampus move in together. Hampus is outgoing, likes partying and the ladies. Björn prefers to be at home, painting the apartment and building spaceship models. They have an open and strong friendship, but where is the line crossed in their friendship?

Magnus Mork

Magnus Mork is an award-winning Norwegian director, writer and producer. He has a BA in Media Arts from The University of London and a BA in Directing from Gothenburg University School of Film. His graduation film, Flatmates, won Nordisk Panorama’s Nordic Talent Award, as well as the Film Critics’ Award and The Golden Chair for Best Short Film at the Norwegian Short Film Festival 2007.
For his next film, Samaritan, he won the national film award Amanda for Best Short Film in 2010, as well as the Iris Prize, the world’s largest prize for LGBTQ+ short films, allowing the winner to make their next film. This became 2013’s Burger, for which he won Sundance Film Festival’s Special Jury Prize for Direction and Ensemble Cast in 2014.
In 2017, Mork co-founded the film production collective, Alternativet.
