Mehrdad Hassani is a writer and director, sculptor and a photographer from the desert area Rafsanjan in Iran. He studied photography and filmmaking at the Iranian Youth Cinema Society and has a Bachelor of Art from Sooreh University of Tehran, and completed Asghar Farhadi’s directing course and Hamid Samandarian’s acting course. As a filmmaker he has made five fiction short films as a filmmaker so far, receiving a total of 16 international awards.
