Launching a roadmap for greener short film production!

In collaboration with the Short Film Festival, Mediefabrikken is launching “green” film clips — a roadmap for young filmmakers.

This sustainability project came to life through production funding Mediefabrikken received from the former Akershus County and Viken County. It’s finally ready to be presented!

The roadmap consists of a series of humorous two-minute film clips on various sustainability topics, directed by Silje Reistad and featuring Oscar Wicken as the “green guilty conscience.”

A panel of industry professionals with expertise in sustainable film production will help frame the event. Together, they will shed light on perspectives and challenges related to sustainability in short film production.

In addition to this event, there is a website with tips, tricks, and checklists, where the films will also be freely available. 

On the panel: Tøri Gjendal from Nordisk film, Nina Barbosa from the Norwegian Film Institute, Silje Reistad filmmaker and writer/director of the clips, moderator Guro Ekornholmen from Mediefabrikken.

Light green snacks and drinks will be served.
