At the Roundtable:
Răzvan Rădulescu on Screenwriting

Whether you have directed a short or a feature film, have a screenplay ready, or are in the process of writing and/or directing a new film, then our series At the Roundtable is for you!

Getting honest and personal feedback about your script and film project from Răzvan Rădulescu himself is an opportunity that doesn’t present itself very often. The acclaimed and much sought after writer and script consultant will join us at the roundtable for an exclusive conversation with a group of 15 filmmakers selected based on a presubmitted short synopsis of their projects.

This edition of At the Roundtable is limited to 15 participants.
The event is now fully booked.

*This event will be in English.

Saturday 10:00 Clarion Collection Hotel Grimstad

Răzvan Rădulescu studied linguistics, French Literature, and opera directing before starting to work in cinema and became an integral figure in the emergence of the Romanian New Wave.

As a screenwriter, he is known for The Death of Mr. Lăzărescu, Tuesday after Christmas, and Child’s Pose.  He was a script consultant on 4 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days and The Autobiography of Nicolae Ceaușescu, and directed First of all, Felicia and Evropa.

He followed a basic principle; cinema on screen is about what we see and hear, while off screen it is about what we think and feel.

As a script consultant, Răzvan has collaborated with a number of Norwegian filmmakers including Brwa Vahabpour, Gunhild Enger, Nataša Urban, Thea Hvistendahl, and Emilie Blichfeldt.
