The Norwegian filmmaker Dag Johan Haugerud will attend the 48th Short Film Festival!

On this occasion, the festival is inviting you to a conversation between him and DOP Cecilie Semec.

The two have previously worked on four feature films together; “The Light from the Chocolate Factory” (2020) and the trilogy “Sex, Dreams and Love” (2024), as well as the featurette “I’m the One You Want” (2014). “Dreams” won the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival in 2025, as the first Norwegian film ever. 

One of the questions that will be asked during the conversation is: 
What is it about the lingering narrative form that makes cinematography and text merge together?

In addition to the conversation, Dag Johan Haugerud will also curate his own special program which will be shown during the Norwegian Short Film Festival.
