Sisyphos

A loose reimagining of the myth of Sisyphos. In an absurd daily ritual, a woman serves bread to strange occupants of an empty church. Reluctantly, they eat; the consumption of the bread causing them to degrade and she looks on, experiencing carnal visions. On the shore of a lake where the sand is flour, she kneads a huge mass of dough. She cleanses herself in the lake and the bread rises. The bread becomes a body and the eternal process begins again.
