Simon Matthew Valentine, Shokat Harjo
Shokat Harjo is the founder of the production company Honning Film, where he is both an actor, director and screenwriter. He fled to Norway from Syria in December 2015, and made his debut at Det Norske Teatret in the screening I desse dagar in 2022. He also starred in the feature film Gritt and the Netflix series Lakseøya. In addition to I Walked Alone, he has directed the short films Siste stopp and Edderkoppen.
Simon Mathew Valentine is a British/Norwegian filmmaker who tells stories through the use of magical realism, often with elements of the supernatural and metaphysical. His previous eco-horror short Tistlebu has won multiple prestigious international awards. He is currently taking his fine arts master’s degree at the Norwegian Film School.
