Will we be able to build a strong and viable Norwegian film industry that on a larger scale is inclusive of its short films? The short film and its creators are in a challenging and vulnerable situation.
Norway is full of talents brimming with creativity, originality and drive, yet all too often are left feeling that films in a short format are expected to be made purely out of strong commitment and on a volunteer basis.
What does the future hold for the filmmakers and short film workers as funding keeps getting cut while costs keep increasing?
In this conversation we will meet Terez Hollo-Klausen from The Norwegian Film Institute, Ingrid Liavaag, deputy chair of the Directors’ Guild of Norway and Lise Fearnley, producer at Mikrofilm.
Moderated by Christina Skreiberg.
This event will be in Norwegian.
