Mariam Bakacho Khatchvani
Mariam Bakacho Khatchvani (b. 1986) is a filmmaker from Ushguli, Georgia. Her first fictional short film «Dinola» from 2013 has been invited to more than 300 film festivals, including The Norwegian Short Film Festival. Her first feature film «DEDE» had its world premiere at Karlovy Vary Film Festival and got Grand Jury Prize. Mariam has participated in the Berlinale Talent Campus, Sundance Screenwriters Lab, Cinefondation Residence de Cannes, Locarno Filmmakers Academy, EAVE and etc.
