Cristóbal Arteaga Rozas (b. 1979). In 2006, he studied script writing at Universidad Católica de Chile, and as a Director and Screenwriter at the Madrid Film Institute and has written, directed and produced feature films. In 2013, he wrote, directed and produced his first full-length film, The Sad Smell of Flesh, which won the “Resistencias” section and the Fipresci Award at the European Film Festival of Seville. In 2019 he released his fifth feature film, As mortes, premiered at Gijón IFF, and Homo Homini Lupus, his sixth film as a writer and director. The Construction of a Sound is his first short film shot in Chile.
