25-year-old Maria Gloria Poltronieri Borges was raped, killed and left alone by a waterfall. No One to Lose is a poetic and personal approach to the phenomenon of femicide, grief and the collective struggle against violence against women.
Ingrid Fadnes is a feature journalist currently working for the newspaper Klassekampen. She has worked with various forms of documentary, both written, radio and film, and in 2020, she directed her first full-length documentary Mata. She has lived for over a decade in Latin America. Thematically, she mostly works with nature and the environment, feminism, indigenous issues and social organization and struggle. Currently she is attending a film course at the university OsloMet. No one to lose was made as a part of this course.
