Yvonne Zhang is a British-Chinese director and writer who uses folklore, dream worlds and digital media to explore migration, memory and loss. Her short film Carrion won the Alfred P. Sloan Production Award. Her next short, Sweetwater Aquarium, is currently in post-production. Yvonne completed her MFA in Directing at the American Film Institute. She was raised by a fiery single mother who saw death in her dreams and cat-ghosts in the hallway.
