Truls Svenningsson is a Swedish film director and script writer based in Gothenburg. He grew up in a small village outside the city of Umeå, North Sweden where he started making movies back in 2015. Since then he has directed a low budget feature and five short films. His films often utilise heightened narratives to explore mundane or otherwise quite grounded characters and topics. He leans toward absurdity and enjoys the contrast of mixing genres and tonalities to create new ways of how we can perceive storytelling in film.
