Multi-talented Stina Wirsén has been a creative force for three decades. Since graduating from Konstfack, Stockholm’s University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in 1992, she has explored the worlds of art, theater and film, as well as being a professional writer and illustrator. Wirsén has written thirty books, mainly children’s literature. In addition, she has provided artwork for roughly 100 books, countless advertising campaigns, and other media projects.
Director/producer Linda Hambäck has worked in the film industry since the late nineties. She trained at the National Dramatic School of Arts as producer and graduated from EAVE in 2002. In 2011, Hambäck founded LEE Film, focusing mainly on animated films for children. Her acclaimed debut feature Gordon & Paddy world premiered in Berlinale Generation 2018, and her 2021 sophomore feature The Ape Star (Apstjärnan), premiered internationally at Annecy and was a Best Animated Feature nominee at the European Film Awards 2021.
Before her directing debut she produced several highly acclaimed shorts. At the 2019 Swedish National Guldbagge Awards, Linda received the prestigious GULLSPIRA Award for outstanding achievements in childrens’ film.
