Moscow-born Alexey Alexeev is a director, art director, animator, script writer, composer, and editor. He studied animation at Moscow’s Studio Pilot, where he later worked. He then became Creative Director at Varga Studio and Studio Baestarts in Budapest. His animated shorts have won more than 70 awards at festivals around the world, including Annecy, Hiroshima, KAFF, Zagreb, Seoul, New York, and Chicago. Alexey has also served as jury member at over 25 international festivals, including Hiroshima, Utrecht, Stuttgart, and Annecy.
