Maria Sánchez, Pau Canivell, Rubén García

Maria Sánchez graduated in Audiovisual Communication at Pompeu Fabra University and Master’s Degree in Fashion Styling, Advertising and Audiovisual Media at LCI Barcelona. She also writes short stories, poetry and film scripts, for which she has received numerous awards, including the Permi Recerca Jove modalitat Reginó (2018), the Narrative Prize Sambori Òmnium Cultural (2018), the Terenci Thos i Codina (2017-2018), and  the XXXIX Mostra literària del Maresme (2022). 

Pau Canivell graduated in Audiovisual Communication at Pompeu Fabra University and has a Master’s Degree in Film Direction from the ECI. His feature documentary, Tacones Sobre Ruedas (2022) was released in theaters nationwide. He was on the Giornate degli Autori jury during the Venice Film Festival in 2023 and is a LUX Audience Award Ambassador of the European Parliament. In theater, he has co-created and performed pieces at Sala Beckett. He is currently touring the world with orchestra director Jordi Savall, organizing and filming concerts.

Rubén García Fernández graduated in Audiovisual Communication at Pompeu Fabra University, and in acting from El Timbal. Behind the scenes, he specializes in production designing and writing. His latest self-created piece, Las hermanas no discuten, has been performed on several Barcelona stages, allowing him to develop his skills as a playwright, set designer, stage director and performer. His work usually deals with social issues, among which the queer community and the revision of the «cañí» culture stand out.
