After graduating from the University of Amsterdam with a master’s degree in Film Studies in 2011, Bregt Pepijn Verhagen briefly worked as a high school teacher before he started working as a director. In 2019 he directed and produced his first self-written fictional short titled Lux. In 2022 he wrote and directed his second short film titled Camouflage, for which he drew inspiration from his time as a teacher.
