With its narrow cobbled streets, white wooden houses, and tiny passageways, Grimstad is one of southern Norway’s most beautiful spots. The geographical placement, with its long coastline and many hours of sun, has made it one of the country’s most desirable destinations.

Grimstad is also known as the Town of Poets; Knut Hamsun and Henrik Ibsen have both lived and worked in Grimstad, leaving many traces around town.
