Nicolas Gourault is a French artist and filmmaker trained in contemporary art schools such as Le Fresnoy, Studio National des Arts Contemporains, but also in visual studies at Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, and with Forensic Architecture. His work is imbued with this double training and aims at linking visual issues with political concerns by means of a documentary critique of new media.
