L'Esquisse
Arriving in Paris, I started learning two languages, French and drawing. In a studio I met Linda, a life drawing model – transgender and an immigrant, like myself. Drafting her outlines, it is also myself I learn to draw.

Tomas Cali
São Paulo-born Tomas Cali is a director and editor. His first short film Tailor (2017), screened at over 140 festivals, including Tampere Festival, Uppsala Film Festival, AnimaMundi, and Dok Leipzig. Recently, he edited Jean Costa’s short Naughty Spot, which screened at Clermont-Ferrand and Premiers Plans d’Angers. The question of marginality, of those who are called “outsiders”, is the continuing thread in Cali’s work. The Sketch is his second film.
