Davka is a teenager living in the decaying Soviet buildings in Ulaanbaatar. With his classmate, Anuka, they talk about manga and tease each other about sex. When Davka meets an older woman, his ideas of intimacy and relationships are forced to change.
Lkhagvadulam Purev-Ochir is a Mongolian filmmaker. Her feature projectZe won the production grant at the 2020 Locarno Open Doors. Her latest short film Shiluus (Mountain Cat), based on Ze, was chosen in 2020 for the Cannes Short Film Competition and the Sundance festival, amongst many others, and won the Sonje Award at Busan IFF 2020.
