Raúl Monge was born in Alcorcón in 1978. He works as advertising director and designer for film projects. He has worked with Guillermo del Toro in Pan’s Labyrinth and with other directors such as Alejandro Amenábar, Jim Jarmusch and Paco Plaza. In 2019 he premiered his first short film called Hopes, with which he won the European Silver Melies among others. In 2021 he shot his second short film Suburbs Apology. Both short films were produced by himself with the help of User T38, a post-production and design company where he is a partner.
