Xóchitl Enriquez Mendoza, b.Oaxaca, 1991. Director, screenwriter and producer. She studied film at the Popular Autonomous University of the State of Puebla (UPAEP) and film script at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC). In 2018 she produced her short film Franco, IMCINE, by Mariana Martínez. And in 2020 she won the 20th IMCINE Southeast Region Short Film with Catalina. In 2021 she produced his first fiction feature Bacaanda by Mario Bustillo. Now, she is developing her documentary debut The root of my navel.
