Yuyan Wang
Yuyan Wang, born in China in 1989, is a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist. Her work focuses on the impact of image creation in media, representation, and the attention economy, as she deconstructs and recontextualizes inherent meanings of found materials. Her work has been showcased at Tate Modern, Palais de Tokyo, the 12th Berlin Biennale and various festivals, such as the Berlinale, IFFR, European Media Art Festival, Indie Lisboa, receiving numerous awards.
