Io Alexa Sivertsen is a photographer and filmmaker based in Oslo. Sivertsen studied photography at The Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and holds a master’s degree from the Norwegian Film School. Her works have been shown at, among others, Eye Filmmuseum and Melkweg cultural venue in Amsterdam, The Norwegian Short Film Festival in Grimstad and Gallery CK13 in Novi Sad, Serbia. In 2022, together with collaborating artists, she won the main prize for the video work BBQ & Apocalypse shown as part of the Autumn Exhibition in Oslo.
