Charlotte

A pop song transforms the lives of an enigmatic folk singer and her family. Charlotte was written, built, and animated by the filmmaker in his 12′ x 12′ bedroom during quarantine.

Zach Dorn

Zach Dorn is a filmmaker, writer, and performing artist who creates miniature melodramas. Dorn’s multimedia puppet performances have premiered at Ars Nova (New York), St. Ann’s Warehouse (New York), and REDCAT (Los Angeles). His work has been funded by The Jim Henson Foundation, The Heinz Endowments, and the Artist Foundation of San Antonio. His animated films have been screened at Slamdance (2020), Sweaty Eyeballs (2020), and The Toronto International Film Festival (2021). Dorn received his MFA in Experimental Animation from Calarts in 2021.
