In a Guatemalan mountain village, a young girl Elena is sent to fetch water and keys for her mother, the local activist. On her way through the village, she notices something about today is different. Elena doesn’t know how to cope with it while she sees how snow starts falling on the ground. World premiere.
Dalia Huerta Cano is a director, cinematographer and editor from Mexico based in Oslo. Her work has been screened and awarded at many international film festivals around the world, including Morelia Film Festival, Docs DF and two works at Semaine de la critique in Cannes. A Berlinale Talent alumnus, Dalia is currently editing the Mexican documentary Formas de atravesar un territorio, which was presented at the Doc Film Market during Berlinale this year.
