Alethea Arnaquq-Baril
Alethea Arnaquq-Baril is a documentary filmmaker based in Iqaluit, the capital of the Nunavut Territory in the arctic of Canada, where she was born and raised. A graduate of Sheridan Institute in Ontario, her focus is on producing Inuit cultural documentaries and Inuktitut language productions. She became a documentary filmmaker, in order to contribute to helping Inuit voices be heard on the world stage, on issues that are critical to them.
