Maria Hatzakou
Maria Hatzakou is a film writer, director and producer, based in Athens, Greece. She holds a BA in Film and Video from London College of Printing. In 2021 she founded her own production company, Merricat. Its credits include Hatzakou’s first foray into writing and directing with the short film Amygdala. Maria has recently finished her second short film 7hz, and is in development with Starflyer, her third short film. She is also currently writing her first feature film.
