A young Japanese man travels to a small Danish town looking for work as a DJ. He gets rejected by the only club in town and ends up wandering the streets meeting strange characters.
Martinius Temte is from Drammen, south of Oslo. His dream of writing and directing appeared in high school, and he went on to study film history. He shadowed directors and producers on a TV series for Apple+ in New Zealand, and as a student at the European Film College, he wrote and directed the short Japanese Cigarette (2023), and just completed his latest, Running Bird (2024).
