Burul
Burul wants to wrestle, but the wrestling coach won’t let Burul train at the boys’ gym and her father forbids her from training at home. One day she is kidnapped by a guy from the neighbouring village, who wants to marry her.

Adilet Karzhoev
Adilet Karzhoev was born in 1988 in Kyrgyzstan. In 2011, he received a Bachelor’s degree from the Kyrgyz-Turkish University Manas; Department of Radio, TV and Cinema. In 2019, he received a Master’s degree from American University in Central Asia; a department of Journalism, specializing in cinema. Karzhoev produced several documentaries and fiction films, screened at several international film festivals. Karzhoev is currently a teacher in the TV, Cinema and Visual Arts Department at the American University of Central Asia.
