Simone Maria Hooymans
Simone Hooymans was born in the Netherlands. For 12 years she has lived and worked in the international AiR Kunstnarhuset Messen in Ålvik, Norway. She graduated from the academy for visual art in Arnhem and has a master degree from the Art Academy Breda, in the Netherlands. In 2017 she received Honorable Mention at The Norwegian Short Film Festival in Grimstad. In 2020 she won the audience award for best animation during the animation festival ReAnima in Bergen for the film Ras, produced by Aldeles AS Norway.
