Bridey Elliott

Bridey Elliott graduated from the National Theater Institute where she studied playwriting. After moving to New York City, she became a regular at Upright Citizens Brigade and starred in the SXSW Grand Jury Prize winning indie feature, Fort Tilden (2014). After relocating to Los Angeles, she began directing and her first short film, Affections, went to the Sundance Film Festival in 2016 and in 2018, Bridey returned to Sundance with her dark comedy, Clara’s Ghost, which was released theatrically by MGM Orion. In 2020 Bridey co-directed her first documentary, The Starr Sisters, which also premiered at Sundance, the same year as her short, The Feeling, went to AFI FEST. She is currently gearing up for her second feature. She loves people and movies.
