The tyre is flat, it’s almost the rendezvous time: Martin and his daughter are meeting mum at the playground. But she prefers to party with her friends by the river as if there were no pandemic. Soon it will be summer in Berlin.

Frédéric Jaeger

Frédéric Jaeger studied film and philosophy at the Free University of Berlin and has since worked as a film critic and festival programmer. His films include the documentary UNBELEUCHTET (2007, co-writer and editor) and the short film NOTHING BUT PROGRESS (2016, co-director). Since 2018 he is studying film at the Berlin University of the Arts under Thomas Arslan. There, he created the short films HÖNOW’S ENLIGHTENMENT, which premiered in competition for the Max Ophüls Prize, and MEN’S ROOM, co-directed with Manuel Inacker, which premiered at Filmfest Dresden in 2021.
