The Directors room and The Cinematographer’s Perspective.
In collaboration with Norwegian Film Directors (NFK), we invite director Lilja Ingolfsdottir, and director and cinematographer Øystein Mamen to the industry program “The Directors room” to have a conversation about their creative work. Moderator Gunhild Enger will lead this conversation. Øystein Mamen made his directorial debut last year with the documentary “Straff” in addition to having filmed Lilja Ingolfsdottir’s feature film “Elskling”. Øystein Mamen will also take part along with two other colleagues during the panel discussion “The Cinematographer’s Perspective”.
Lilja Ingolfsdottir’s selected short films
Over the years, the Norwegian Short Film Festival has had the pleasure of showing many of Lilja Ingolfsdottir’s short films, so we are extra excited that she is returning to Grimstad for an exclusive conversation about her career, experiences and work as a director and screenwriter. Lilja Ingolfsdottir had the world premiere of her feature film debut “Elskling” at the renowned Karlovy Vary Film Festival last year, where she won a total of five awards.
Film talk with Director and Producer
The path from short film to feature film is not given. If you are going to succeed, you need to have people around you who believe in you through ups and downs, push you forward and lift you up. Producer Thomas Robsahm is such a person, and we look forward to talking with Lilja and Thomas about their collaboration on Elskling, and about future projects.
Roundtable
Festival goers will also have the opportunity to meet each and one of them for a conversation at “At the Roundtable”. Further information about registering for this program will be available shortly.
