Ingrid Aune Falch

Ingrid Aune Falch is a former producer at UpNorth Film and has produced films such as Praying for Armageddon (2023), Trond Giske – Makta Rår (2022), Oh, it Hertz (2021) and iHUMAN (2019). In addition she has co-produced several international films, including The Last Seagull (2023), Nelly & Nadine (2022) and Golden Land (2022). Ingrid is currently a mentor and consultant in the documentary field, Chair of producer’s network Trøndersk Produsentnettverk and CEO of Trøndelag’s theater group Turnéteatret. She holds an MA in Art and Media Sciences from Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU.

 Axel Danielson studied film at the Valand Academy in Gothenburg, and his graduation film Sommarlek (2005) won a number of international prizes. 

In 2010, he joined the Swedish production company Plattform Produktion and has been working closely with Maximilien Van Aertryck ever since, both being involved as director/producer and cinematographer/editor in the creation of their joint films. Their 2016 short, Ten Meter Tower (Hopptornet) screened at over 100 festivals, winning multiple awards before being shortlisted for an 2018 Academy Award® as well as receiving millions of views online through the New York Times’ Op-Docs site.

David Weissman is a renowned documentary producer and director. His acclaimed documentaries include The Cockettes (Sundance 2002) and the Academy Award® shortlisted We Were Here (Sundance 2011, co-directed with Bill Weber). 

A longtime resident of San Francisco, David was deeply involved in the City’s political and cultural life – from the 1970s era of Gay Liberation and Harvey Milk, through the darkest years of the AIDS epidemic. David moved to Portland, Oregon in 2004 where he co-founded, and for 10 years co-directed, QDoc: The Portland Queer Documentary Film Festival.

David is also the producer/ director of the series, Conversations With Gay Elders, in which he collaborated with young gay editors to profile gay men of the pre-Stonewall generation.

Prior to making documentaries, David made a wide range of offbeat short films, festival trailers, HIV-prevention ads, and other oddities.

Jason Resnick is a consultant and executive producer advising organizations and filmmakers on the opportunities for production, financing and distribution in the independent film marketplace. 


From 1998 to 2008, Resnick served as an executive for Universal Pictures and Focus Features. His most recent title was Senior Vice President and General Manager, Worldwide Acquisitions for the Universal Pictures Group. Resnick was in charge of all acquisitions and co-productions for all of Universal’s distribution platforms worldwide: Universal Pictures, Focus Features, Rogue Pictures and Universal Home Entertainment.  His acquisitions for the studio included Ray, Lost in Translation, Mulholland Drive,  The Motorcycle Diaries and Brick, the first film from Rian Johnson.  


From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Resnick was also in charge of Universal’s local language productions in Latin America and Asia. In Latin America, this included overseeing Universal’s production deal in Brazil with Fernando Meirelles (The Two Popes; The Constant Gardener; City of God); bringing in and overseeing Elite Squad (feature debut of José Padilha, the creator of Narcos) and overseeing the production of the award-winning Mexican film, Sin Nombre (feature debut of Cary Fukunaga). In Asia this included negotiating a co-production deal with CJ Entertainment for Thirst, Korean director Park Chan-wook’s (Oldboy). Mr. Resnick holds a Bachelor of Arts in English cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.

Angie Driscoll brings over two decades of film programming expertise to her work as Senior International Programmer and Senior Shorts Programmer at Hot Docs. She has selected films for a variety of international film festivals including the Sundance Film Festival, Aspen Shortsfest, the Athena Film Festival and Nordisk Panorama, and closer to home, for the Toronto International Film Festival, the CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival and the Toronto Urban Film Festival. 

She has curated films online for BBC LongShots and Babelgum, consulted for Reel Canada, Storybolt and Midtnorsk Filmsenter. She currently works with Palm Springs ShortFest, the New York Times’ Op-Docs and Minimalen Kortfilmfestival to bring more documentaries and short films to larger audiences online and IRL.

Nederlandsk eksperimentell dokumentarfilmskaper og produsent. Hun er eier av det Amsterdam-baserte produksjonsselskapet ZINdoc. De siste ni årene har hun jobbet sammen med partneren sin, den tsjekkisk-kanadiske filmskaperen Petr Lom. Arbeidet deres er vist på mer enn 350 filmfestivaler over hele verden og har blitt sendt i over 25 land. Deres siste film Myanmar Diaries vises på årets festival.
