The Norwegian Short Film Festival arranges speed dating between Norwegian directors / producers and international programmers, distributors and agents.

Speed dating is an important arena for getting to know an international network of programmers and distributors. The goal is not necessarily short-term, that your current film must be signed, but rather getting to know a network of contacts for your further career and future films. Programmers and distributors are always interested in exciting directors and producers, and prefer to pick up the next films early in the process.

The international festival circuit is very important for both director and producer. At the same time, with so many festivals around the world, it is a difficult and confusing journey.
Think long term, value new contacts. We see this as a targeted and efficient way to establish ties between the Norwegian film industry and important international actors.

This will take place both physically in Grimstad and digitally.
