Here is the festival program!

The 43rd Norwegian Short Film Festival 2020 offers the best in Norwegian and international short films – on a brand new digital platform, 10th–14th of June!

In March, The Norwegian Short Film Festival decided to go digital, and today we can finally present the result! In addition to an updated website, we have a brand new streaming platform.

Our goal is to recreate and translate the festival feeling digitally, and present the strong program in a user-friendly way. As usual, we offer you the best of Norwegian and international short films, virtual meetings and interactions with established and emerging filmmakers, exciting and informative discussions and events.

This year’s filmmaker in focus is Swedish director Amanda Kernell, known for her feature film Sami Blood, as well as her many shorts. We are proud to screen her wonderful shorts and host a special master class. Our special programs include shorts from international star directors, films about architecture, alternative pornography, and Norwegian shorts inspired by the Cocid-19 lockdown. We also have a special industry section, with masterclasses, seminars on digital distribution, talks with some of Norway’s most prominent filmmakers – and, as usual, Sundance and Toronto
International Film Festival present a selection of their best films.

How the festival works:
Festival passes are now available for purchase for a reduced price of only 200 NOK!
