On a sunny summer day at a beach, two young boys, Lukas and Oliver, must navigate the challenges of Lukas’ parents’ alcohol abuse while trying to hold on to moments of joy.

Mads Sterri Nilsen is a Norwegian film director from Kopervik, Karmøy. He holds a master’s degree in film production from NTNU and studied Cinematic Arts at California State University, Monterey Bay.
His debut short documentary, My Friend Artemis, was showcased at several national and international film festivals and received the Best Student Film award at the Minimalen Short Film Festival in Trondheim.
